Ross Compe said: Dwayne Crofts has had another successful offshore fishing trip around Dirk Hartog Island and the Snapper Cliffs south of Steep Point. We are looking forward to some terrific photos from Dwayne and his mates. Good captures of Pink Snapper and one of my favourite table fare,Baldchin Groper as well as some very fine Spanish Mackeral. A lot of experienced Perth fishos venture north during May,June and July and take advantage of some good northern angling during our winter months. Photos and more details to follow! ...

Ross Compe said: Last weeks reports from the Swan River and around the Mosman area indicate good numbers of King Prawns. A few Black Tiger Prawns have also been taken by divers in the area. Though not in numbers, it is not as unusual as you may think. They occassionally enter the river from the harbour when the prevailing currents and weather are favourable. Blue Manners are there as well though numbers are not plentiful. Fish sightings are well down at the moment and generally angling efforts have been poorly rewarded. School holidays at present and a big crowd of kids took advantage of the fine condition...

Ross Compe said: Joshua from Banksia Grove often shares offshore boat duties with local guru Dwayne Crofts but managed success from the shore not far from Ledge Point recently. A fantastic Mulloway of 1.4 metres was the reward from his beach angling trip. Thats a terrific fish Joshua and I'm sure it made for some fine table fare! Well done ...
